The Site Map
Remington Carriage Museum location

The Remington Carriage Museum opened in 1993 and is the newest of three major Interpretive Centres in southwestern Alberta. The other Centres are just a short drive from Cardston: Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump Interpretive Centre is devoted to the culture of aboriginal bison hunters and the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre tells the story of one of the largest landslides to have occurred in North America in historic times.

The Remington Carriage Museum sits on a 20 acre site adjacent to Lee Creek and many recreational facilities, including: camping and picnic grounds, tennis courts, a swimming pool, baseball diamond and running track with grass infield. Cardston, being just a 25 minute drive from both Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, and Glacier National Park, Montana, is at the hub of a vacation playground.
