July 17, 2010 - George Woolf/Seabiscuit Memorial Statue Unveiling

On July 17th, 2010, a life-size equestrian statue of Cardston-born jockey George Woolf and the legendary racehorse Seabiscuit will be unveiled at 11:00am on the grounds of the Remington Carriage Museum in Cardston. The statue is entitled "So Long, Charley!" Attendance is free of charge.

August 20 & 21, 2010 - Miniature Horse Chuckwagon Championships

These chuckwagons are approximately one half the size of those on the professional circuit and are pulled by a team of four miniature horses, but they pack all the punch of their regular sized counterparts! The Alberta Miniature Chuck Wagon Racing Association will supply the wagons, teams, drivers and crews.
